Is Chicken Health Food? As personal trainer I work with people who are trying their best to lose weight and make themselves healthier. When I first start working with a new client I ask about their diet. “On a 1-10 scale(1 being poor, 10 being perfect) how would you rate your diet?” A common response goes something like this,”I would give myself a 7. I eat pretty well. I don’t eat much junk food or red meat. I eat mostly chicken and vegetables.” So, in an effort to lose weight, get healthier, consume less fat and cholesterol, to improve their diets, people are eating more and more chicken.
