MURPHY, N.C. (PRWEB) March 28, 2012

For the past 20 years, Americans continue to gain weight and develop adult-onset diabetes at an alarming rate. The costs of this epidemic in terms of death, disability, and essential medical/nursing care are enormous and continuing to increase. While numerous diet gurus push low-calorie, low-fat eating regimens that are mostly too complex to follow, Dr. Dan Eichenbaum presents a simple, easy-to-follow, no-brainer eating program that only takes five basic steps.

Based mostly on Dr. Atkins low-carbohydrate dietary regimen, The Five-Finger Lifestyle Diet is an instruction manual for eating, a how-to book for managing food intake, and a catechism to help readers live a healthy lifestyle. My goal is to give you a simple, understandable eating lifestyle to break the carbohydrate addiction that will ruin your health and shorten your life, Eichenbaum shares.

Unfortunately, most are always looking for the easy way, a magic pill, a painless alternative to achieve weight loss and good health. While the Five-Finger Lifestyle is close to painless, it does require commitment to a plan of action. Basically, the diet lets readers understand what foods they must not eat (the Five Untouchables) and why they are not good.

Including low-carb recipes, The Five-Finger Lifestyle Diet will help the overweight and diabetic eat pleasurably but wisely as well achieve weight loss and blood sugar control.
