I have been on several of those drink 2 shakes a day diets. They have been effective over a short period of time.  The one meal you eat a day was healthy with meat and vegetables normally. The shakes contained protein in them. They weren’t unhealthy. But they were hard to stay on and do for long periods of time. Also, I love food so that made it harder. And, how many variety of shakes are there? If you’ve decided to go on one of these diets, let me give you some shakes to lose weight recipes. Let’s “shake” it up. (Okay, bad pun)

Protein Shake w/ Fruit
With natural sweeteners (with any of the following: any fruit, flax oil, avocado, plain yogurt, ground flax seeds, psyllium husk [powder or husk], hulled hemp seeds).

Breakfast Smoothie
Blend half banana, 50g of crushed pineapple, 50g of mango, 1 diced peach and a cup of skim milk. Ready to serve.

Protein Shake
Made with natural sweeteners with any of the following: any fruit, flax oil, avocado, plain yogurt, ground flax seeds, psyllium husk [powder or husk], hulled hemp seeds

Strawberry Shake
Put orange juice in a blender and add frozen strawberries. You can add some protein powder as well.

You can get any fruit you like and freeze it. Then you can put it into your juice or milk when you blend it. Also, you might try whey protein as opposed soy protein. This gives you even more variety. Also, you might consider putting some nuts in it. Make sure you have a quality blender. Also, I highly recommend you choose fruits you love. There’s flavoring you buy that contains no calories. There’s chocolate flavoring, for example, that’s perfect for your next shake. There’s all kinds of shakes to lose weight recipes. Just use your imagination.
