Your body processes foods in different ways, though the initial H+ ion content may be more, (pH) your body processes chemicals into different compounds. There’s been research done to prove lemon, etc, is processed by our bodies into alkalising foods.

glad to hear that bananas, melons and oranges are alkalising. I do tend to like them quite a bit. I quite like some apples such as coxes and golden delicious but find sour fruits like lemon and pineapple to be pretty unpleasant unless mixed in with something like a drink. I should really cut down sugar and alcohol as I have diabetes in my family on both sides. 🙁

i suffer from hi uric acid in my bdy.. 🙁 my gp told me to reduce meat eatin…. 🙁 is there any thing else i can do other than eatin fruits and drinkin lot of water???

Corina, what about diary? My doctor tries to make me stop taking any diary, especially made from cow’s milk. It was for calfs and not for humans he sais. But: I love milk, yoghurt and these things. Sometimes I even crave for them, for example when I get home after work, or when I a situation was very tense. A glas of whole milk and a banana and I am well again. Is this a bad habit?
